Coburg Village Sponsors Free Senior Living Seminar Featuring National Retirement Expert
REXFORD, N.Y. – March 8 -- Retirement consultant Barbara Kleger will conduct a free senior living seminar at Coburg Village, 1 Coburg Village Way, Rexford, March 23 and March 30. “How to Compare Senior Living Options” takes place at 11 a.m.
“As people move onward into their senior years, they are often confronted with a great many questions regarding their lifestyle choices,” Kleger said. “This seminar has been created to review the stages of senior living and to help people 65 and older better assess the lifestyle options that are available to them.”
Kleger, president of Philadelphia-based, 55+ Consulting, a division of KD Partners, LLC, a national firm that specializes in strategic planning and consumer research in the active adult and full service retirement community industries, will discuss trends in retirement communities. She will also review national statistics on issues that are most important consumers, age 65 and up, and give tips on selecting a retirement community.
She has been active in the retirement housing industry since 1978 and serves on the boards of many senior housing organizations. She is a frequent speaker at national seminars and has surveyed more than one million adults on the subject of retirement living. She was involved in the past two White House Conferences on Aging and was recently awarded the prestigious Icon of the Industry award from the National Association of Home Builder’s 50+ Housing Council.
