Q: Is there an endowment or entry fee?

A: No,  you will be asked to enter a one-year lease agreement 
 


Q. Are dining facilities available?

A: Yes. Coburg Village has three dining venues:


The Village Bistro - Offering both indoor and outdoor table service as well as takeout.

The Vandenburg - Offering a slightly more formal dining experience with a varied menu including chef-prepared cuisine and comfort foods. Whatever your palate prefers! We also offer seasonal soups made fresh daily and a variety of scrumptious desserts, including sugar-free options.

Club Buffet Dining - Due to COVID, we no longer offer buffet-style dining. We will be announcing an exciting new dining option to take its place.

The cost of one meal a day is included in your occupancy fee. Your meal is selected from a varied restaurant-style menu. Delicious fresh food is available seven days a week.
 


Q: May I have friends or family over for a meal?

A: Due to COVID restrictions, we are only allowing residents to dine in the Village Bistro and 46 & Birch dining venues. Guests are welcome to dine on our outside Village Bistro patio and in resident apartments and cottages. Alternatively, residents may prepare a meal in their own kitchen.
 


Q: Is there a selection of apartment plans?

A: Yes, we offer a variety of floor plans and a selection of price ranges. These allow you to choose an apartment or cottage that is ideally suited to your tastes and budget.
 


Q: Is a deposit required?

A: A security deposit equal to one-month’s occupancy fees is required.
 


Q: Are there housekeeping services?

A: Yes, your monthly occupancy free includes bi-weekly housekeeping services. Bed linens (sheets and pillowcases) and towels are also provided and laundered bi-weekly, unless you prefer to do your own.
 


Q: Is maintenance available?

A: Yes, and it’s included in your monthly fee. Our staff maintains the plumbing, air conditioning, grounds care, and carries out other general maintenance chores.
 


Q: Is Coburg Village safe and secure?

A: Absolutely. We have a security program that runs 24-hours-a-day, seven days a week.
 


Q: What other services do you offer?

A: We offer many more services. Our director of activities coordinates programs, social and educational events, exercise classes and excursions. We offer scheduled transportation (five days a week) to shopping areas, banks, medical offices, church on Sunday, and entertainment venues.  We also have scheduled events on Saturdays.
 


Q: What kind of activities do you offer?

A: Everything from musical concerts and movie nights, to card playing, book clubs, exercise classes, and trips to local theaters. 
 


Q: Is my pet welcome?

A: Yes, your pet is welcome. Some restrictions apply. There is a pet security deposit required.


Q: Do you offer transportation to medical appointments?

A: Yes, transportation is available for medical appointments within a 25-mile radius of Coburg Village.
 


Q. What if I need help in case of an emergency?

A: There is an emergency call system in each apartment. Should you need assistance, it will bring the staff to your apartment. 
 


Q: What are the advantages of the Coburg Village location?

A: There are many. Within the immediate vicinity of Coburg Village you will find a variety of churches, restaurants, golf courses, shopping and recreational facilities.

Just 15 miles north of Coburg Village is the historic city of Saratoga, which has many quaint shops, the world-famous racetrack, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center (Summer home to the New York City Ballet), and many fine dining establishments.

We are also located within 15 miles of New York State’s capital city, Albany. Albany offers many attractions, including the Capital Repertory Theater, the Times Union Center, the Albany Symphony Orchestra, the New York State museums, as well as the Capitol Building/Empire State Plaza complex. In addition, there are many shops, restaurants, and other amusing destinations in and around the Clifton Park area.
