There’s something about that late spring air that makes us want to get out and do things! Fortunately, we don’t have to travel far for some fun. There’s plenty happening right here in the Clifton Park area to keep us entertained all summer long.

*The Town of Clifton Park owns several historic buildings that echo the history of the town. All buildings, including the Historic Grooms Tavern, Blacksmith/Carriage House, and the Palmer House are located in the rural hamlet of Grooms Corners.

Introduction to Archery

Join for a one-day introduction to archery. Learn about the equipment, games, and how to shoot. Great for all skill levels. Open to anyone aged 9 and up.

Letterboxing Treasure Hunts

Visit the Clifton Park Office of Parks and Recreation at 1 Town Hall Plaza for a Passport to Nature book and start exploring the local parks and preserves. Follow the clues to the hidden letterboxes at each park while learning about nature right here in town. Once you have all 10 stamps, bring your book back for the commemorative pin. Park locations include: Hayes Nature Park, Kinns Road Park, Mohawk Landing, Veterans Memorial Park, Garnsey Park, Dwaas Kill Nature Preserve, and 4 locations within the Veterans Ferry Nature and Historic Preserve.

Anticipated closing date of all 3 Town Pools is Sunday, August 16

ALL POOLS ARE OPEN DAILY FROM NOON – 8:00pm.
